The narrative of the music video is Kelly Clarkson on her wedding day. She deep down knows that her fiance is having an affair so runs into an eerie forest, where she finds herself playing with a band. She is dressed very gothic along with her surroundings. It is very dark with falling leaves and mud everywhere. By the time she gets to the band her wedding dress is ripped and muddy. There is an extreme close up of her crying with heavy black make up running down her face. Throughout the video there is lightening, adidng to the gothic theme. The video has a fast pace in both the narrative and the shots. She then changes from her white wedding dress to a black dress and sings in a broken down church, surrounded by broken chairs and ripped material. At the end of the video, Kelly realises that her fiance is cheating on her and runs away. The last shot is her running the church doors into a bright light.
