Fallout Boy- infinity on high album cover analysis

On this album cover, they have created their own creature that could be seen as either disturbing or funny. It is evidently a cross between a sheep and a duck and other animals. This creates individuality for the band and makes it memorable. The name of the band looks hand written on the cover, giving it a personal touch to the fans. The title name 'infinity on high' is taken from a letter written by Vincent van Gogh to his brother in 1888 in which he describes his renewed health and the vigor it has instilled in his painting. The exact phrasing has been translated as "Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. The life seems almost enchanted after all". The lighting comes from the wall, this is because stars are pasted on the wall along with a moon. The blue colour from the wall also adds a mysterious tone to the cover along with the other disconnected things on it.
